Day 1 :
07:00 AM: Departure from Naivasha
Pick up from your hotel or designated meeting point in Naivasha.

08:00 AM: Arrival at Mt. Longonot National Park
Entry formalities and registration at the park gate.
Overview of the hiking route and expectations.
08:15 AM: Start of the Hike
Begin the ascent from the park gate (2,150 m).
Hike through diverse landscapes, including dry forest and open grassland.
Observe wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and various bird species along the trail.
10:00 AM: Reach the Crater Rim
Arrive at the crater rim (2,560 m).
Take a short break to enjoy the panoramic views of the crater and surrounding area.
10:30 AM: Optional Crater Rim Walk
For those with more energy, continue hiking around the crater rim.
Complete the circular trek, which offers stunning views into the crater and out across the Great Rift Valley.
Note: The full rim hike takes about 2-3 hours.
12:30 PM: Descent to the Park Gate
Begin the descent back to the park gate.
Enjoy the changing views as you make your way down the mountain.
02:00 PM: Return to Naivasha
Depart from Mt. Longonot National Park and drive back to Naivasha.
